Racial bias, stigma and discrimination in maternal and infant care leads to poor health outcomes for both mothers and babies. In Ohio, Black infants are three times as likely to die than White infants.

Continuing education across the continuum of care is crucial to combat racism and improve health outcomes for Black women and their families. As a multi-system and community-wide collaborative, OBBO is proud to offer free continuing education courses (CEUs) aimed at delivering this training to hospital systems and healthcare partners from prenatal care to labor and delivery to perinatal support providers.

Our CEUs are always free and accessible, with options for in-person attendance, live-streaming or recorded sessions. Each training course features a diverse set of speakers with relevant content specific to equitable maternal-infant care.
