Our Work in Franklin County

Ohio Better Birth Outcomes (OBBO) is a nationally recognized model of collaboration of hospitals and public health established in 2009 to reduce prematurity and infant mortality in Franklin County, Ohio. Nationwide Children’s Hospital serves as the convener and facilitator of OBBO and provides quality improvement consulting, project management and data support to evaluate progress of OBBO interventions with each prenatal clinic through dedicated staff.
